ANGELA FAZIO

CERTIFIED PERSONAL FITNESS TRAINER AND NUTRITION COACH AND WELLNESS EDUCATOR

For those of you that do not know, “Diakonissa” is a Greek title of honor that is used to refer to a deacon's wife. As an example, one would say, “Hi, Diakonissa. How are you today?”

Dnsa. Angela is certified as a group and personal fitness trainer and nutrition coach through International Sports Science Association. She’s been working in the fitness industry for over 20 years. During college and after graduating with a degree in Business Management from Marian Court College, she was a group fitness instructor with a specialty in cardio kickboxing and personal fitness training. Her love of exercise led her to begin studying martial arts which included Tai Chi, Kenpo Karate, and Taekwondo. She and Sal opened their first martial arts school together in 2004. After getting married and starting a family, she continued her education with holistic remedies and nutrition.

Angela is constantly pursuing her profound interest in holistic living as well as escalating her knowledge and desire to continue her education and expansion in the fitness world. Over 17 years ago together, she and Sal started Christian Martial Fitness Inc.

Over the years, Angela has utilized her gifts to teach about nutrition, fitness, and life coaching. Part of her daily effort is to always put God first in all of these passions and gifts that he has provided. Being a wife to a deacon and homeschooling their children are blessings and also the core parts of her daily life.

Dn SAL FAZIO

DEACON AND MARTIAL FITNESS EXPERT

Martial fitness has always been a constant for Sal since his youth. For the way his fast-paced brain works and for the abundant energy he has, it has proven to be the perfect amount of challenge, both physically and mentally, that keeps him focused and balanced in all aspects of his life.

The more Sal did martial fitness, the more it helped him to grow closer to God and made him realize his best martial arts came out when he kept focused on the fruits and gifts of the Holy Spirit. Sal tested it while sparring and in intense drills or situations, and this spiritually centered focus simply worked the way God intended it.

The harder he trained, the more prayerful he stayed during services, at home, and at work. It allowed him to treat his neighbor the way he wanted to be treated. Maybe most importantly, it showed him a path to dealing with his enemies in a more loving way, dropping the hate and anger and just approaching the situation as a Christian. Then, between Sal’s own studies and Angela teaching him about nutritional eating, essential oils, and other healthy living products, it all came together.

As a master and as a deacon, Sal never wants to stop daily training. He wants to continue growing in union with God and looks forward to being transfigured in this life and in eternal life. Along the way, Sal wants to share these Christian Martial Fitness techniques with all of you. This is why he and Angela have developed their motto to “Train hard- Stay Prayerful- Live Healthy”!
